Life insurance is based on the principle of utmost good faith. According to this principle the proposer has to disclose all the material facts.as most of the time the person who is taking the insurance knows about the insurance company (providing the insurance)very well but the reverse is not true .So accordiong to the principle the person taking the insurance should disclose the facts that that can effect the decison of insurance providers(ie company) or underwriters .
